I’m on a very stressful mood today. It is all about me being here living as a student. The most gruesome thing is my lecturer has rejected my report on Global Warming. I have to do it all over again. I don’t know what he was thinking. He gave me questions about global warming which I had to answer with lots of agreements, arguments, and disputes. I’m still puzzled; don’t know how to figure it out.
Meanwhile, we are fast approaching the month of April. Many big things are gonna happen. On 6th of April, there will be an annual dinner function of Health Ministry students scheduled at Hotel De Palma Ampang. I’m about 80% not sure about attending it. Most probably I’ll not go. Even though my name is on the Best Students Award list. However, I’ll try to think about it. The truth is I don’t really like to be at a certain function where people wearing fancy clothes doing nothing but seeing other people doing nothing. It is somewhat dumb, you know. What they will be doing apart of eating fancy food and watching other people? It is not that I’m an anti-social, it is what we called wasting our time and money. No offense though. Haha.
10th till 16th will be a week of final exam. I’m not well-prepared yet. There are so much thing to memorize. Blah blah blah.
The most anticipated thing is that on the night of 16th, I’ll be on the bus to Kuala Terengganu to visit my brother’s place at Akademi Bomba. I’ll meet the cutest kid alive, El-Arshad, my nephew. Also looking forward to visit some nice places in Terengganu if I’m lucky enough. Maybe I’ll spend a day or two there before going back to Kota Bharu.
The next best thing would be meeting my family, especially my parents. Gonna spend the whole 2 weeks to distract them with my presence in the house a.k.a perabih beras. Haha.

Bought it yesterday at Low Yat Plaza, KL for a reasonable price (RM390). Never thought that I would end up buying a Nikon. Proud of it though. Haha. 6.0 Megapixels only, nothing much compared to those other high-end models, just enough for my personal use. Also came with 2 pieces of 1GB SD card. Gonna give him a name later. Those pictures were taken by my friend, Sally, using her Sony Ericson K800i Cybershot. She seemed so psyched while testing my digicam. Haha.

Tired March 22, 2008
The last 3 days were the most tiring days of my life. Had to submit 2 assignments in a day. And had to deal with 3 exams in 2 days. I didn’t get enough sleep but never mind. Had to juggle those things in a matter of a week. And most importantly, I didn’t get the chance to go back to my hometown because of them. Damn.
I spent my free time going to watch a movie on Thursday. Watched a new horror movie, “Shutter”, based on a photographer, starring Joshua Jackson. And then, on Friday I was about to go to Serdang Hospital and I canceled it at the very last minute due to the delayed train to Serdang. I was a bit sad because my dad was also there and I didn’t manage to meet him. Gotta wait til next month.
I was waiting for the train when my dad called and told me not to come to the hospital as it was about to rain. All I did then was buying an LRT ticket to Sogo to meet my friend. And there I was looking on my potential new boyfriend. Don’t get me wrong, dude. I was looking at digicams at Pertama Complex and Maju Junction. Found some decent models at decent price tags there. Can’t wait to get my hands on one of them. But I’ll be looking elsewhere first.
Gotta pen-off for now. I’m hungry. I would like to wish a “Selamat Pengantin Baru” to my friend, Kak Natrah who is getting hitched today in Johor. Sorry I couldn’t attend the ceremony. Wish u the happiest life. Lpas ni x bleh lepak same2 lagi. Haha.

2 or 3 months ago I was thinking of buying a new mobile phone. I was targeting some latest Nokia models and trying to match them with my tight budget. It was some time ago. What I’m obsessed about is a digital camera. Oh yes, I’m thinking on buying a digital camera by the end of this very month. The so-called Carl Zeiss lens of Nokia N73 camera didn’t satisfy me enough. As well as Sony Ericson K800i camera phone. Those 3.2 megapixels cameras didn’t do me any favor. All I need is a simple gadget of 6.0 megapixels above. I have seen some decent models such as Canon, Samsung and BenQ. I’m trying to get a slight demo on Samsung model and maybe some testimonials from my friends.
To everyone who might want to share his or her view on what I should buy, I’ll appreciate your thoughts. I can’t wait to take pictures of my dad who is a self-confessed camera-shy man. Moreover, I really want to capture my family portraits with every one of the family members in it. Therefore, to Kak Jah and family in Glasgow, why don’t you take a break and come back to Malaysia for a while. I miss those horrible adorable little monsters.
Goodbye to all latest cool mobile phones out there. I’m going to stick with my good old Nokia 6600 and Nokia 1110i through thick and thin. Coming the end of the month, there you go. A new digicam, hopefully.
3 Guys, A Girl and A Sewage System. March 14, 2008
I should be able to go back to my hometown next Wednesday. Really looking forward to it. But now the chance seems to be gone slowly when my “beloved” lecturer of Water Supply and Sewage System subject gave me a group assignment. I got 3 guys as my partners. No, actually those 3 guys chose me as their partners. They told everyone that anything with me in it would be a major success. Haha. That was a great compliment. I was quite flattered. tq.
We are scheduled to present our group assignment on Monday,24th of March. So that is kind of bothering me now. If we managed to finish it before next Wednesday, then I would be happily go back to Kota Bharu.
Let me spare some details about the assignment and also my..er..partners.We were told to complete necessary informations on an equipment called “Rotating Biological Contactor” which is used in wastewater treatment process. We never learn about it though. But there is a place called the Internet where we can get a scoop on the subject. My partners, Shahrul, Feroh and Abg Tajul will put all their hopes on me as they are not an Internet expert. Fine, I’ll do the work alone.
The guys will be useful in some other tasks. Shahrul maybe will assist me in compiling the PowerPoint slide and writing reports. Abg Tajul and Feroh will be the man to finance our project.
Oh2 ok.. i should start looking for some raw materials now. Be back later. And lastly, i would like to dedicate an Al-Fatihah to my friend’s dad who passed away peacefully last week ago in Kota Bharu due to lung cancer. Amin.

Nothing to write about my day today. Same old, same old. 10am to 6pm classes. My mood was completely down today. Dunno why. But somehow, i managed to count my blessings all over again and managed to smile again after seeing those photos of my 5 super duper smashing cute nephews. There u go.
My sister’s little boys. Danial and Demyan. Glaswegians with thick Penang accent. Miss them. Still remember how Danial used to throw my Nokia 6600 like it was a bowling ball. haha. Demyan was a bit “sombong”.Nasib baik comel.
